Elizabeth Shultz is originally from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania, where her parents instilled in her a love of the history of the common man. She attended The Stony Brook School, on Long Island, and graduated with honors in 2009. After graduating high school, Elizabeth studied and traveled in Europe as an ESU Scholar, attending the Cobham Hall School, which is housed in a Grade I Listed Building in Great Britain. 

Elizabeth received an undergraduate degree in Public History, with a concentration in Architectural History, and minors in Spanish, Latin American Studies, and International Studies, from Lock Haven University of Pennsylvania in 2014, graduating Summa Cum Laude with Distinction from the Honors Program. 

In October 2015, Elizabeth passed the examinations to be certified by the National Development Council as a Real Estate Development Finance Professional. 

Elizabeth will graduate from the Master of Preservation Studies program at Tulane University's School of Architecture in December 2015. 

In the past, Elizabeth has interned at the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office, the New Orleans Historic District Landmarks Commission, and in the Cultural Resources department at the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
